“Walk, Woof and Wag” dog walk

Photographs from this walk can be seen on the walkingtalks Facebook page:

Help us Celebrate The Chinese New Year of the Dog on our “Walk, Woof and Wag”. This free circular dog walk is open to anyone with a well behaved dog and aims to raise money for the PDSA.  No fee, but donations gratefully received on the day.

Date: meet on Saturday February 10th ready for an 11am start from outside the main entrance of the Sovereign Centre in Boscombe’s pedestrian precinct. The walk will be led by Hattie Miles and is supported by the local business community and Coastal BID.

Be prepared: This walk is designed for dogs and their human friends. In residential areas and near roads dogs need to be on a lead, but there will be opportunity for a run-around for dogs that enjoy it. Please bring your own poop bags and any doggy essentials your dog likes during a walk. I recommend that humans wear comfortable shoes and dress appropriately for the weather. The walk will include some slopes and a few steps and we aim to go down to the beach if the weather is suitable.

Famous people born in years of the Dog include Winston Churchill, Mother Teresa, Leonard Cohen, Judi Dench, Elvis Presley, Steven Spielberg, Donald Trump, David Bowie, Madonna and Harry Styles.
